Jesus said to his apostles, "Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest awhile."- Mark 6:31
The apostles had been specially chosen to tell the good news of the kingdom in all the villages of Israel, teaching the people and helping them. Jesus knew they were tired, so he told them to go to a quiet place to rest. How kind and thoughtful Jesus was! We all need rest in order that we will be able to do whatever God wants, as we try to follow Jesus’ example of kindness and thoughtfulness to others. Matthew 11:28
