Jesus himself said, "I am the light of the world."- He also said to his disciples, "Ye are the light of the world."- The only true light shines forth from God through our Savior’s teachings and example. Though only some are enlightened by a knowledge of God’s plans now, in the kingdom of Christ, the light of truth will shine on, or reach, everyone. 2 Corinthians 4:6
