When some of the women disciples of Jesus visited his tomb early on the third day following his crucifixion, they were met by two angels who gave them the wonderful message that Jesus had been raised to life! The women hurried to tell the good news to the apostles. Although Jesus had been raised a spirit being, he appeared in human form so his disciples could see him and know he had been resurrected. 1 Corinthians 15:4
